A part of our commitment to supporting early education, Entergy joined community leaders, educators, and families to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Wilcox Academy’s new Central City Early Learning Center and educator housing facility.

This summer, community partners across Entergy Mississippi’s service area are giving away fans, water and other items to help customers stay cool as the summer heats up, funded by $27,500 in Beat the Heat grants the company awarded recently to several organizations.

More than 650 community members gathered at the Joe Brown Park Recreation Center for Entergy New Orleans’ annual Energize NOLA Community Fair and Backpack Giveaway, an event designed to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year while connecting them with valuable community resources and energy-saving programs.

For the 7th consecutive year, Entergy New Orleans served as the presenting sponsor of Rebuilding Together New Orleans’ Build and Boil. This annual tradition brings together the spirit of service and the soul of New Orleans culture, reaffirming our long-standing commitment to community development and neighborhood revitalization.

Entergy Mississippi’s The Power to Care Golf Tournament, held recently at the Refuge Golf Course in Flowood, raised $182,000 to help older adults and customers with disabilities with emergency bill assistance.
