Jackson State University students awarded Entergy’s HBCU scholarship

Entergy Mississippi is proud to announce three Jackson State University students have been awarded Entergy’s Power Your Future Scholarship. The scholarship is aimed at supporting undergraduate students pursuing eligible technology majors at select Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and minority-serving institutions across the company’s four-state service area.

Entergy Texas donates $30,000 to aid flood recovery efforts in Central Texas

To provide critical support to our neighboring communities, Entergy Texas is donating $30,000 to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to aid recovery efforts following the Central Texas floods. The foundation manages the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which helps provide rescue, relief, recovery services and flood assistance to impacted communities.

Beat the Heat Day provides relief from high summer temperatures

Just in time for the peak of summer activities, Entergy Mississippi is contributing $628,000 to help older adults and customers with disabilities with their bills. The bill assistance, which includes contributions from employees, customers and shareholders, is distributed through Entergy’s The Power to Care program. The company announced the contributions during Beat the Heat Day events, where they gave away fans and energy efficiency kits to households in need.

Entergy recognized as Civic 50 Honoree for the 10th consecutive year

Entergy has been recognized as a 2025 honoree of The Civic 50, a prestigious recognition by Points of Light that highlights the top companies in the United States leading the way in employee volunteerism and community investment. This marks the 10th consecutive year that Entergy has received this significant honor.

Claiborne Substation restoration and mural project earns prestigious award for historic preservation

Entergy New Orleans and Gibbs Construction have received the Louisiana Landmarks Society “2024 Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation” for restoration work on the Claiborne Substation located at 425 Elysian Fields Avenue. This is a major milestone for Entergy New Orleans and our partners marking the successful planning, restoration, and revitalization of this historic site.
