Entergy Arkansas Prepares for Laura’s Arrival
Hurricane Laura is predicted to strengthen as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to impact Entergy Arkansas customers starting Thursday. We are prepared for severe weather and working to ensure we have the people, crews and resources ready to respond to outages quickly and safely, while practicing social distancing measures needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the additional measures our crews must take, restoration may take longer, especially where there are widespread outages. We recommend customers prepare as well. Storm Team Ready to Respond in Louisiana Ahead of Marco and Laura
Entergy is enlarging its storm team to respond to any impacts across Louisiana from tropical storms Marco and Laura. The company is assembling a restoration workforce of approximately 3,800 workers and continues to acquire more as forecasts for Laura indicate a potential Louisiana landfall.

Marco and Laura Update
Current forecasts show Marco passing south of Louisiana on Tuesday as a weakening tropical storm. Laura is predicted to make landfall in southwest Louisiana as a Category 2 hurricane late Wednesday.
