We thank you for your patience while we restored over 18,500 customers who lost power as a result of the thunderstorms with high winds, heavy rain and lightning that moved through the Entergy Mississippi service territory Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon.

We continue to make progress in restoring power due to severe thunderstorms bringing high winds, heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorm activity that passed through the Entergy Mississippi service territory Sunday night and this afternoon causing customer outages.

Entergy Mississippi storm update – 5/19/25, 6 p.m.

Severe thunderstorms bringing high winds, heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorm activity passed through the Entergy Mississippi service territory overnight causing customer outages. As of 6:00 p.m., approximately 6,100 customers are without power after reaching a peak of 8,689 customer outages at 7:30 a.m. this morning.

Tianna Raby named vice president of regulatory affairs for Entergy Mississippi

Entergy Mississippi has named Tianna Raby as vice president of regulatory affairs, effective May 18. In this role, she will lead the company’s regulatory affairs organization, which is a key partner to the Mississippi Public Service Commission.

Entergy Mississippi has assigned a new customer service manager, Felicia Brown, to support communities in Hinds County, including Clinton, Raymond, Edwards, Bolton, Terry, Learned and Utica. Brown also works with the distribution team to ensure customers’ needs are met with excellence.

Approximately 79% of the customers impacted have been restored, down from the peak outage that occurred at 6:15 a.m. this morning of 10,948 outages.
