Hurricane Francine’s landfall is hours away. The storm is expected to make landfall later today near Vermilion Bay as a Category 2 hurricane. After landfall, the center is expected to move northward into Mississippi Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

Entergy Hurricane Francine update – 9/10/24, 5 p.m.

We are preparing for impacts across our service area from Hurricane Francine. According to the National Hurricane Center's latest forecast, Francine may strengthen significantly before it reaches the coast. Francine is currently expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast near Vermilion Bay Wednesday. We are prepared and we want you to be prepared, too.

We are preparing for impacts across our service area from Tropical Storm Francine. According to the National Hurricane Center's latest forecast, Francine will likely become a hurricane today, with significant strengthening expected before it reaches the coast. Francine is currently expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast near Vermilion Bay Wednesday as a Category 2 hurricane. We are prepared and we want you to be prepared, too.
