Most customers impacted by the winter weather that brought snow, ice and below freezing temperatures to North Louisiana have been restored. As of 12:00 p.m., approximately 6,000 customers in the hardest-hit areas of Louisiana are without power. Our crews will continue working to restore service until the last light is on.

As of 8 a.m., crews have now safely restored power to nearly 70,000 customers, representing about 76% of customers impacted at the peak of the storm. However, that number doesn’t tell the full story. As crews restored power, new outages continued to occur due to ongoing damage from ice-laden trees and power lines.

Significant progress continues as crews work through challenging and dangerous conditions. Outages are down to approximately 50,000 customers, from a peak of 91,500. With improving, above-freezing temperatures, crews expect to make notable progress throughout the day today.
