Entergy New Orleans recently hosted a series of community town hall meetings throughout the city, giving residents an opportunity to hear directly from our subject matter experts about electric reliability, economic development initiatives, and infrastructure projects underway in their neighborhoods.

Recent meetings in Districts A and C, held in partnership with Heroes of New Orleans, focused on infrastructure upgrades in each Council District, power generation, streetlight ownership, economic development projects and customer service resources.

“Our community town hall meetings give us an opportunity to listen to our customers, answer questions and address residents’ concerns,” said Stephanie Willis, director of public affairs for Entergy New Orleans. “These conversations are important because they allow us to share what we are doing to improve our services while hearing directly from the people we serve.”

The Energy Smart team and customer service representatives also were on-site sharing energy-saving tips, while our customer service team answered billing questions and provided information about the Bill Toolkit and other bill payment resources. Entergy New Orleans staff members also shared updates on progress under the company’s Accelerated Resilience Plan, including new and upgraded infrastructure designed to strengthen the power grid.

In District D, Entergy New Orleans participated in the Mayor’s Community Engagement Office’s Third Quarter Neighborhood Leaders’ Roundtable, which drew more than 200 residents from across the city. The event brought together representatives from several city departments to discuss neighborhood issues, while Entergy New Orleans staff shared updates on infrastructure improvements and customer resources.

Entergy New Orleans will continue hosting community townhall meetings in each City Council district to keep residents informed about economic development projects, infrastructure investments, and connect them with available resources and services.
