BATON ROUGE, La. – This tax season, Entergy Louisiana will offer its customers free tax preparation and support at upcoming multiple Super Tax Day events throughout Louisiana. Qualified Entergy customers can walk in and receive assistance from IRS-certified volunteers, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free income tax filing experience.
Entergy Louisiana customers will have access to essential information about tax credits and deductions they might qualify for, including the federal Earned Income Tax Credit, a key program that helps lift many Americans out of poverty. In 2025, Entergy helped low-income customers receive $54.2 million in federal tax returns across the company’s service area. This year, Entergy’s trained tax volunteers will continue to assist customers in determining their eligibility for this and other credits, helping to maximize their potential refunds.
“We recognize that tax season can be a difficult period for many of our customers, and we are committed to ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to navigate this process with ease,” said Phillip May, president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana. “By providing these free services, we aim not only to assist our customers but also to give back to the communities we serve.”
The Super Tax Day events will take place at locations throughout Louisiana, making it convenient for customers to take advantage of this free and valuable service. Customers unable to attend an event in their area can still receive free, in-person tax preparation services by scheduling an appointment at one of the Entergy-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites, or VITA, through April 15, 2026.

- Saturday, Feb. 21: Lemann Memorial Center, 1100 Clay St., Donaldsonville, LA, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 28: East Baton Rouge Main Library Goodwood, 7711 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday, March 28: Hispanic Apostolate, 2525 Maine Ave., Metairie, LA, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday, April 11: Hispanic Apostolate, 2525 Maine Ave., Metairie, LA, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
