We proudly join our industry partners July 10th in recognizing National Lineworker Appreciation Day and the essential role lineworkers play in maintaining a reliable and resilient electric grid.

Our teams build, maintain and repair the complex infrastructure that delivers electricity to more than 3 million customers across four states. Their work requires extensive training, technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety.

“Serving as a lineworker is more than a job, it’s a calling,” said Charles Long, senior vice president of power delivery. “I’m grateful for the men and women who show up for our customers every day. Their professionalism, especially during the trying times of storm restoration they work, exemplifies the highest standards of our industry.”

During major restoration events, our crews work tirelessly, often in hazardous conditions, to safely restore power. Whether facing the aftermath of hurricanes, severe thunderstorms or ice storms like we saw earlier this year, our team’s discipline and expertise ensure we can restore power safely and efficiently for the communities we serve.
