Entergy Arkansas March storm update – 3/17/2026, noon

Entergy Arkansas crews continue making strong progress restoring power following severe weather that moved through the state on Sunday, March 15.

Entergy Mississippi storm update – 3/16/2026, 7:30 p.m.

Severe thunderstorms with high winds and heavy rain again moved through the Entergy Mississippi service territory last night and early morning resulting in widespread customer outages. The total number of Entergy Mississippi customers affected by this storm event is over 29,000 and over 24,900 have been restored, 85%.

Entergy Arkansas March storm update – 3/16/2026, 6 p.m.

Sunday evening’s storm brought high winds and vegetation damage leading to power outages in parts of the state, peaking at 22,600 customers without power.  Entergy Arkansas crews have been working tirelessly and have restored 87% of those outages. Crews are actively responding to the remaining 2,900 outages and we're committed to getting everyone back on as safely and quickly as possible.

Entergy Arkansas March storm update – 3/16/2026, 11 a.m.

Sunday evening’s storm brought high winds and vegetation damage that caused power outages across parts of the state, peaking at approximately 22,600 customers without power. Entergy Arkansas crews worked through the night and have already restored about 70% of those outages in less than 12 hours.

Entergy Mississippi completes restoration of power to all customers

Entergy Mississippi has successfully completed restoring power to all customers whose homes and businesses can safety take electricity following this week’s severe weather.

Entergy Mississippi crews, contractors, tree trimmers and scouts are working diligently to restore power after a severe weather system affected our service area Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning. As of 7 p.m., less than 15% of customers are still without power.

Behind the scenes at Ike Hamilton: Entergy’s largest storm staging site

When winter storms swept across the region this January, Entergy faced a challenging restoration effort in historic conditions. Ryder Miller, senior staff HR business partner at Entergy, was deployed to the Ike Hamilton staging site in West Monroe, Louisiana — one of the hardest hit regions of the storm.
