Before sunrise, hundreds of Arkansans were already lined up outside the Arkansas State Fairgrounds. Some came hoping to receive assistance with their utility bills. Others were looking for ways to make their homes more energy efficient or connect with community resources.

Southside School District in Southside, Arkansas has received over $140,000 in incentives through participation in Entergy Arkansas’s Entergy Solutions offerings. This district has completed a series of major construction and upgrade projects across the district, resulting in significant energy efficiency improvement and cost savings.

A new piece of equipment is helping Entergy Arkansas crews work faster, safer and more efficiently in some of the state’s most challenging terrain as the company continues investing in the next generation of Arkansas.
