The Get2College Mobile Unit, a state-of-the-art college access and planning center, started rolling this month thanks to a partnership between The Woodward Hines Education Foundation, Entergy and the Walton Family Foundation.

Superpower Mississippi is the largest, most comprehensive grid upgrade in the company’s history and will save customers millions in costs that otherwise would be included in future bills.

A musician and photographer, Kutter McLaughlin was a guitarist in several bands for many years and shoots inspiring photographs, particularly on his travels with his family. He may be talented in several different arenas, but his skill as a lineman shines—so much so that he has been selected to represent Entergy Mississippi as Lineman of the Game at the Saints game on Sunday.

Heading into the 2005 hurricane season, Entergy employees gathered to participate in the annual systemwide storm exercise. The fictional scenario that year involved two back-to-back hurricanes striking our service area. Fast forward a few months later, hurricanes Katrina and Rita made landfall less than a month apart.

Entergy Mississippi is proud to announce three Jackson State University students have been awarded Entergy’s Power Your Future Scholarship. The scholarship is aimed at supporting undergraduate students pursuing eligible technology majors at select Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and minority-serving institutions across the company’s four-state service area.
