Entergy January winter storm update – 2/2/2026, 7 a.m.
The majority of our customers impacted by the winter weather that brought snow, ice and below freezing temperatures to parts of our service area have been restored. As of 6:15 a.m., approximately 12,530 Entergy customers in the hardest-hit areas of Louisiana and Mississippi are without power. Our crews will continue working to restore service until the last light is on.

Entergy’s workforce has restored power to approximately 86% of customers impacted by last weekend’s winter storm. Crews continue working under challenging conditions, including freezing temperatures, to restore service to remaining affected customers.

We continue to make steady progress, restoring service for more than 75% of our customers, but conditions remain dangerous and unpredictable as ice-related hazards persist and new risks emerge daily. Freezing temperatures and high winds could impact restoration efforts throughout the weekend.

Winter weather impacts: understanding significant ice accumulation
When a massive winter weather event hits an area more familiar with tropical temperatures, thunderstorms and tornadoes, the impacts are often hard to fathom. The recent storm that swept through Entergy’s service territory – disrupting electrical service for approximately 171,200 Entergy customers – brought with it significant ice accumulation and extreme challenges that have slowed our restoration efforts.

We know how important electric service is to our customers, especially during the bitter cold brought by the recent winter storm. If you’re without power, we understand how difficult this is, and we’re working as safely and quickly as possible to restore service to everyone who can safely take power. If you do have power, please consider taking steps to reduce electric usage to save money during this period of extreme cold — every little bit helps.

Entergy January winter storm update – 1/28/2026, 5 p.m.
Restoration efforts are well underway following the recent severe winter weather, which continues to disrupt customers’ lives primarily in Louisiana and Mississippi. We have restored nearly 50% of all Entergy customers across the system, and work continues in the hardest-hit areas, which are expected to be restored this weekend.

Entergy partners with the American Red Cross to provide disaster relief to communities affected by winter storm
Our annual $250,000 disaster relief grant enables the American Red Cross to provide essential supplies, food, water and shelter to those affected across our service area in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Lingering ice continues to stress vegetation and power infrastructure causing delayed damage as crews work in extremely hazardous conditions. So far, restoration crews across Louisiana and Mississippi have worked diligently to restore power to more than one-third of customers following the severe winter weather system that passed through this weekend.

All Entergy Arkansas and Texas customers who could safely receive power were restored yesterday. Restoration for affected Louisiana and Mississippi customers is well underway. As we narrow our restoration efforts to the hardest hit areas, crews continue to face difficult conditions including extreme cold temperatures and icy roads.
