Meta selects Entergy, Northeast Louisiana as site of $10B data center

Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta announced it will build a $10 billion artificial intelligence data center in northeast Louisiana, a transformational investment that cements the state’s status as a major innovation hub and puts this picturesque rural community on the leading edge of a global digital revolution.

Entergy Arkansas offers generous support for Ozarka Technical Center

MOUNTAIN VIEW, AR – Ozarka College Foundation recently received a $100,000 commitment from Entergy Arkansas. The significant Entergy investment will be used to support Ozarka’s Technical Center expansion in Mountain View. Specifically, the gift will support electrical upgrades and the construction of a new outdoor welding lab. The contribution also secures Entergy as naming sponsor of the newly renovated construction lab.  

Entergy named a top utility in economic development for 17th year in a row

For 17 consecutive years, Site Selection magazine has recognized Entergy as a top utility for economic growth in the communities we serve, which include some of the largest and most power-intensive industries in the United States. In 2023, we helped secure more than $33 billion in capital investments and create approximately 5,160 new direct jobs through announced economic development projects within our four-state region of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Entergy New Orleans and Urban League of Louisiana partner to create clean energy jobs

Entergy New Orleans and the Urban League of Louisiana have partnered to launch a career training program that bridges the gap between job seekers in underrepresented populations and career opportunities in the clean energy sector. Entergy New Orleans recently presented Urban League of Louisiana with a $25,000 check to support the workforce development initiative.
