Significant progress has been made in outage restoration from the severe thunderstorms with high winds and heavy rain that moved through the Entergy Mississippi service territory Friday night, early Saturday morning and again this morning. In total with this morning’s round of weather, approximately 33,300 outages have occurred during this weather front with approximately 93% restored.
As of 9:30 a.m., approximately 6,554 customers are without power, down from a peak of 25,478 that occurred at 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning. In total with the latest round of weather, approximately 33,300 outages have occurred during this weather front with approximately 78% restored.

As of 4:30 p.m., approximately 9,975 customers are without power, down from a peak of 25,478 that occurred at 4:00 a.m. this morning. With the widespread outages and damage, some customers will carry overnight.
