Entergy New Orleans employees demonstrated their commitment to supporting local families this holiday season by participating in a holiday canned food drive. The collection effort supported United Way of Southeast Louisiana and its partner agencies, which provide critical food assistance to households experiencing food insecurity.
Employees donated a wide range of canned and shelf-stable items, including vegetables, proteins, soups, grains, and breakfast staples. Contributions were delivered to four United Way–supported distribution sites, where they will help replenish pantry shelves during a period of heightened community need.
“Food insecurity affects many of our neighbors, especially during the holidays,” said Stephanie Willis, director of public affairs at Entergy New Orleans. “We appreciate our employees for continuing to show up for the community and supporting organizations that help families access essential resources.”
Entergy has a long history of collaborating with United Way to expand access to basic needs, educational opportunities, and financial stability services for families across the region. This donation drive reflects our ongoing commitment to serving vulnerable customers and strengthening the communities we serve.
