As we look ahead to the winter season, Entergy is prepared and encourages customers to prepare as well. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's climate forecast anticipates La Niña weather conditions to continue through early winter — gradually shifting toward neutral winter weather patterns later in the season, meaning that while some northern areas may see cooler, wetter conditions, the South will trend warmer and drier. Regardless of the intensity of the season, we stand ready to weather any storm, together. 

Tree trimming is about more than just shaping branches with heavy shears; it's an important part of overall tree care and safety. Long branches that hang over the road, power lines or your home are hazards, and weak branches can be easily broken by strong winds and storms.
