During Hurricane Preparedness Week, observed May 3-9, Entergy Texas is reinforcing its commitment to year-round storm readiness and encouraging customers to take steps to protect themselves, their families and their homes ahead of hurricane season. 

Entergy January winter storm update – 2/2/2026, 7 a.m.

The majority of our customers impacted by the winter weather that brought snow, ice and below freezing temperatures to parts of our service area have been restored. As of 6:15 a.m., approximately 12,530 Entergy customers in the hardest-hit areas of Louisiana and Mississippi are without power. Our crews will continue working to restore service until the last light is on.

Entergy January winter storm update – 2/1/2026, 7 a.m.

Entergy’s workforce has restored power to approximately 86% of customers impacted by last weekend’s winter storm. Crews continue working under challenging conditions, including freezing temperatures, to restore service to remaining affected customers.
